Made around your project

The right process for the piece.

Stranger Hands is an independent London studio offering custom 3D printing for individuals, artists and businesses. Bring a print-ready file or an idea that needs modelling. We help choose the process, material, scale and finish around what the part needs to do. UK delivery and international projects can be arranged with your quote.

What we can help with

One studio, two ways to print.

  1. 01

    Detailed resin printing

For miniatures, display models and parts where fine surface detail matters. We discuss supports, orientation and finishing before printing.

  2. 02

    Practical FDM parts

For prototypes, housings, jigs and larger objects. Tell us how the part will be used so we can discuss suitable materials and print settings.

  3. 03

    From file to finished piece

File preparation, assembly, surface finishing and painting can be included in the project scope.

What it makes possible

From figurines to working parts.

  2. 2

    Choose the right approach

We review geometry, process, finish and timing, then prepare a project quote.

  3. 3

    Print, finish and deliver

Your parts are produced and checked against the agreed brief before collection or delivery.

A few useful answers

Before we get started

Can you help if I do not have a 3D model?

Yes. Send sketches, photographs and measurements. We can discuss the modelling work needed and include it in your quote.

Do you offer 3D printing outside London?

Yes. Enquiries are welcome from across the UK and other countries. Send your delivery destination so we can confirm shipping options and costs for the finished parts.

How much does 3D printing cost?

The quote depends on the model, dimensions, material, quantity and finishing. Send the file or references for a project-specific price and lead time.
