Expanding Christmas Tree Fidget

A flat star that pulls up into a Christmas tree and folds back down again.

Lying flat, it looks like an eight-pointed star made of fine, nested ridges. Pinch the little yellow star in the middle and pull, and the layers slide out into a tall, pleated Christmas tree; press it down and it folds flat again. It is satisfying to do over and over.

A good stocking filler and a fidget toy to keep on the desk through December. Shown here in green and in teal, each with a yellow star.
